Written by Admin | Jan 6, 2017 12:00:00 AM

1. Gemüse Kebap

Kebabs are first on the list for most foodies in Berlin. There are so many places to find them – but not all kebabs are created equal. Though it draws in fewer crowds than the legendary Mustafá Kebab, Gemüse Kebap is the best place for quality, flavorful kebabs and you don’t have to stand in line forever. With ample indoor and outside seating, Gemüse Kebap is an excellent place to find your favorite Turkish-German flavors. Along with classic kebabs, Gemüse Kebap offers great vegetarian kebabs too and multigrain bread.

2. Thai Park

Thai Park is exactly what it sounds like. Local Thai men and women set up shop in Preußenpark, sitting on blankets and serving homemade Thai cuisine to hungry and wandering locals. You can find delicious, authentic dishes like Thai dim sum, mango sticky rice, green curry and chicken satay. Try Thai Park on a Sunday, when the the park is busiest.

3. Berlin Burger International

Berlin’s beloved and hip burger joint, Berlin Burger International attracts the foodie masses due to the sheer quality of their full-flavored burgers and chili cheese fries. With the best burgers with bacon that money can buy, this place isn’t just for carnivores. The veggie burger is also noteworthy and delicious and can be ordered with a side of sweet potato fries. Each burger is handmade to order, so do expect a small wait to get your food. (It’s totally worth it.)

4. Barcomi’s Deli

This modern cafe is located in the beautiful Hackescher Markt. Not only is the neighborhood absolutely lovely, Barcomi’s has a charming ambiance and delicious menu – perfect for a lunch with friends. Offering tasty, sizeable sandwiches and some of Berlin’s best cheesecake, it might me wise to split your meal with a fellow foodie and save room for dessert.

5. Du Bonheur

This charming French patisserie offers Berlin’s best desserts. These pastries are to die for – especially the mouthwatering macaroons. Du Bonheur’s offers not only a sweet menu – the intimate, chic atmosphere has its own sweetness with the wait staff wearing matching outfits. Ooh la la!

6. Rogacki

The retro restaurant Rogacki was opened back in the 1930s – and you can tell when you walk in the door. With super friendly staff dressed in old-fashioned uniforms, this old school spot is just as much about the ambiance and service as the food. Rogacki serves up impeccable fried fish, cheeses, and meats, along with lots of friendly smiles.

7. Bite Club

This place is certainly a favorite summer spot for foodies in Berlin. Bite Club is Berlin’s best location to peruse delicious food trucks, located along the Spree River. This summer market offers all sorts of yummy cuisine from all over the world like arepas, Italian meatballs and BBQ jerk chicken.

8. Marheineke Markthalle

Located in a 19th century market hall, the traditional Marheineke Markthalle serves up tasty German and Turkish cuisine. If you go in a group, everyone can choose their favorite stall and meet up outside to dine under the sun at the Tempelhof airfield.

9. The Bowl

The Bowl is a vegan paradise, offering flavorful and nutrition-packed bowls that will make you feel as good as they taste. All of these healthy, superfood bowls contain a salad with a starch, a green, a grain, and a protein.
