Alumni Ambassador Program Terms & Conditions
As an Alumni Ambassador, you will play a vital role in representing The Intern Group and sharing your international internship experience. Your responsibilities are designed to be flexible, allowing you to choose from various activities based on your interests and strengths. By being an Alumni Ambassador, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Definitions
In these terms & conditions:
“Agreement” means this document and the standard terms and conditions outlined within;
“Alumni Ambassador”/ “You” / “Your” means you, the party entering into this agreement;
“Confidential Information” means information proprietary to a Party or designated as confidential by such Party, as well as information about which a Party obtains knowledge or access through or as a result of this Agreement (including but not limited to proprietary information, strategies, and client data). Confidential information does not include information which is or becomes publicly known, generic information, information lawfully received from a third party, or information which was rightfully known prior to this Agreement;
“Direct Transfer” means an electronic transfer of funds;
“Successful Referral” means someone that has been referred to our programs by you using your QR code, where we can confirm this with data or written/verbal confirmation from the referee or your university, and who has paid the entirety of their program fee.
“We/Us/Our” means The Intern Group, a limited company registered in England whose registered address is: Grove House, 2 Woodberry Grove, London, N12 0DR.
1. Confidentiality
1.1 Each party agrees that during the term of this Agreement, and at all times thereafter, that they shall not disclose Confidential Information to any third party, persons or entity.
1.2 You agree not to disclose the terms of this Agreement to any third party, including via social media or to other interns, unless required by law or with written permission from The Intern Group. You agree not to disclose the terms of this Agreement to any third party, including via social media or fellow interns.
2. Intellectual Property
2.1 All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and patents, related to this Agreement and The Intern Group or any materials provided to or created by the ambassador in relation to this Agreement remain the exclusive property of The Intern Group.
2.2 You agree not to use, reproduce, or disclose any intellectual property of The Intern Group without prior written consent.
2.3 You grant The Intern Group the exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, translate, and create derivative works of any content produced in relation to this Agreement in any and all media, for any purpose, without further compensation.
3. Compensation
3.1 You will receive commission-based compensation quarterly.
3.2 The agreed commission per Successful Referral will be:
3.2.1 $100 for each person referred by you that pays their full program fees for our In-person internship program.
3.2.2 $50 for each person referred by you that pays their full program fees for our Virtual, Digital Nomad, or Blended internship programs.
3.3 Compensation is limited to the amounts specified in Section 3.2. No additional compensation or benefits will be provided under this Agreement.
3.4 Payment will be made in USD to the ambassador’s chosen bank account via direct transfer.
4. Termination
4.1 Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of this Agreement.
4.2 If the Agreement is terminated due to a breach of these terms and conditions by you, The Intern Group will be under no obligation to pay any outstanding compensation.
4.3 If you are hired by The Intern Group in a permanent role, congratulations! We're thrilled to welcome you as a colleague. However, your participation in the Alumni Ambassador referral program will come to an end, as full-time employees are not eligible for referral commissions. That said, you are still encouraged to proudly represent The Intern Group and share your story as any team member would.
4.4 If you are hired in a fixed term capacity, you may continue as an Alumni Ambassador as long as your participation in the program does not interfere with your contracted working hours. Please keep your manager informed and ensure there is no conflict with your responsibilities.
5. Earning Points System
5.1 Ambassadors will earn points based on the number of completed tasks and activities that are available to them. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:

Study Abroad & Career Fairs

Calls with prospective interns

Additional Activities:

Event planning/participation (Visit classes on campus, participate in TIG LX events, Post flyers around campus & more)

Social media & testimonial
5.2 Ambassadors need to be fully committed with the attendance at career fairs. If they can’t make it, they have to tell The Intern Group 24 hours in advance.
5.3 Point tracking will be handled by The Intern Group using a designated system.
5.4 Ambassadors can earn pre-agreed benefits, to be decided by The Intern Group, for reaching point milestones, such as a LinkedIn certificate for reaching 20 points
