Here are a few examples of roles that our science interns have taken on before:

• Laboratory Assistant

  While assisting laboratory technicians, interns will gain first-hand experience of the processes involved in conducting various experiments, ensuring that laboratory condition and safety is paramount, while maintaining chemical and lab equipment reliability and inventory.

• Research Scientist

  As a research scientist intern, you will help in the development of new products, ranging from medicine to food. A close working relationship with other researchers is important to leverage various levels of expertise, conducting rigorous testing to ensure reliable and feasible product development, to be presented to senior scientists.

• Biologist

  The role of a biologist is to study animals, plants and people – often in diverse ecological areas. From making observations about diseases, to carrying out experiments on crops, interns will be required to assist in a laboratory or research facility with sporadic opportunities for field work.

• Geoscientist

  From studying the structure of minerals to learning about the composition of oil, the role of a geoscientist lets you expand your knowledge of the earth’s resources. Interns will be able to collect specimens, study data and produce analyses on various resources, and present findings to the greater team.
