This career field is available both online & in our architecture hubs of London, New York, Madrid, & Tokyo. There are no Spanish language requirements in Madrid due to English-speaking supervisors, nor Japanese language requirements in Tokyo for the same reason.

Responsibilities

Going on site visits and performing project research

In your role as an architecture intern, you may find yourself conducting on-site visits to project locations, where you'll perform research, document existing conditions, and gather data to inform the design and planning process. These visits help ensure that architectural plans align with real-world conditions and client needs.

Collaborating with designers, consultants, urban planners, and contractors

Your responsibilities could involve close collaboration with a range of professionals, including architects, designers, consultants, urban planners, and contractors. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing your insights and expertise to ensure that projects are well-coordinated and successful.

Creating outlines and 3D models with programs such as Photoshop and InDesign

As an intern, you may be tasked with creating architectural outlines and 3D models using software tools like Photoshop and InDesign. These visual representations are essential for communicating design concepts to clients and team members, enabling better understanding and visualization of architectural projects.
