Responsibilities
Managing the agency's website, running social media accounts, and updating listings on referral websites
On an internships in the hospitality industry, your role as a hospitality, events, and tourism intern, you could be responsible for the online presence of the agency. This may include managing the agency's website, keeping social media accounts active and engaging, and ensuring that listings on referral websites are up to date and appealing to potential customers.
Providing customer service when booking reservations and researching itineraries for customers
Your role may involve direct customer interaction, including assisting customers with booking reservations and helping them plan their itineraries. This could entail answering inquiries, offering recommendations, and conducting research to create customized travel or event plans that meet the needs and preferences of the customers.
Working closely with vendors on event planning tasks
